Three fashion designers met at Parsons School of Design in New York nearly a decade ago. In 2019, they began working together with a visual lead from the Fashion Institute of Technology, building a shared foundation that would later shape the identity of Knotty. With original in-house patterns, Knotty offers refined knitwear rooted in easy sophistication. From feminine coordinated sets to knit denim trousers and oversized knit shirts, each piece is dressed-up without feeling overdone.

The women's knit market is full, but rarely considered.

After years inside the industry, we kept coming back to the same gap: knitwear that asked you to choose between shape and care, between looking right and not dreading laundry day. So we started over with two questions:

1. What would a knit look like if it was truly designed, not just produced?

2. What would it feel like if you never had to think twice about washing it?

The answers became Knotty.

Our knit denim, pants and jackets, are built for everyday life. Once you've worn it, you'll understand. The knit piece you reach for without hesitation, without concerns on care. Our jacquard line is something else entirely: patterns we developed ourselves, for the moments that call for something more.

We don't make more than we mean to. Our essentials stay: knit denim pants, oversized shirts, and the jacquard. Only the season's pieces change.
